The Rules of The Rusty Anchor
1. Please keep ooc (Out of character)talk to a minimum when in channel. And if you must say something ooc, please out it in (( )) or some other forms of brackets to distinguish it from in-game speech.
2. If anyone has a problem with an op, do not put them on your ignore list. They have to be heard if they are to warn someone against doing something. If it is found that an op is on your ignore list, you will be asked to remove them. If you do not, you will be temporarily banned. After that, ignoring ops calls for an akick.
3. God-moding and auto-hits is a *big* no-no. Anyone caught doing it will be warned to stop. If they do not, they will be kick banned. And if it happens several times, they will be akicked.
4. There is no reason you *have* to role play with anyone. You have a right to choose to ignore a person's role play. But if someone attacks you, it is usually appropriate to respond to them. If you are given enough time to respond, and you do not, it will be considered a hit, and their next moves can follow up accordingly. If the attack was an auto hit, they will be asked to restate their attack, or to drop their action.
5. The language in the Rusty Anchor is rather widely ranged, the channel catering to sailors, and all. *Snicker*. All language is allowed for now, so long as it is kept in character and used in moderation. There is no call for excessive language in ooc, and you will be warned for it. If language becomes a problem - if people abuse it - then a stricter rule will be put in place.
6. Cloning. Clones are allowed in channel if it is not crowded, and if the person wanting to clone does not intend to use them in a fight against another person. In some situations, the ops may give permission to bring a clone into a crowded channel, but it must be stated exactly why that clone is needed. Yes, needed. If it is only wanted, and will not effect the outcome of a storyline, then it will not be allowed.
7. The ops always vote on things that will greatly affect the channel. Please do not ask for a major decision on op status, or other things that would take the agreement of the ops, and expect an immediate answer. Some things take time.
